If you have toys that your children no longer play with, consider swapping them for something new-to-you!
Toys can be brought to the Youth Services Desk from March 25-April 8, during library hours.
There is a 5 ticket per family limit. Bring in 5 toys, get 5 tickets.
If you would like to donate toys instead of or in addition to getting your 5 tickets, we will gladly accept items that meet our requirements. There is a limit of 10 toys for donations. In other words, if you have brought in 5 toys for 5 tickets, you can also donate 5 extra toys towards the Swap.
Bring your tickets in on Friday, April 10, from 10-noon, to the Toy Swap "Shopping" Extravaganza to exchange them for some new-to-you toys.
Any leftover toys will be available to the public at 12:30.
Now, for some rules on the toys:
No cloth/fabric toys (stuffed animals), toys intended to be put in a child's mouth (teething toys), or large items (bicycles, Little Tykes slides, exersaucers) will be accepted. Staff reserve the right to refuse toys that do not meet the requirements.
Toys should be clean and in working condition (no missing parts, please).
Examples of toys to bring include: complete puzzles, games, wooden toys, toy sets (Bluey figurines and the house they came with), action figures, construction toys, educational toys, etc.
